TELEHEALTH

I am so proud of the work we do at Counseling Is Key and the services that we are able to offer, especially in times like this. We are a provider of telehealth services. Telehealth services consist of video, telephone (including texting), computer messaging (emails, direct messaging), and/or any means of electronic communication. 

Telehealth is a recognized method of offering treatment services via information and communication technologies, such as videoconferencing or telephone. If you need to be seen by a health care provider, clinic, or other setting, check to see if telehealth is an option for you. 

If you plan to use your health care insurance to pay for telehealth services, it is recommended that you check with your insurance plan to verify that the telehealth services billed by your provider will be approved via your plan benefits/reimbursement policies for these services.

Please remember that use of this service does come with potential risks such as technical difficulties and confidentiality risks. Be sure to take confidentiality issues into consideration when choosing your physical location while participating in any telehealth services. Counseling Is Key requires all participants to be in a safe location (ex. not driving) and must deem the participants appropriate for telehealth services. This will be assessed at each telehealth appointment.

Telehealth may be provided when deemed appropriate by the Clinician providing the service.
